هدفت الدراسة إلى تحليل أثر مشروعات الشبكة القومية للطرق باعتبارها من المشروعات القومية التي نفذتها مصر اعتباراً من عام 2014 كما هدفت الدراسة إلى تقويم تأثير شبكة الطرق علي البيئة المحيطة بالطرق  والاقتصاد والتنمية المستدامة وتنفيذ رؤية السيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي لتنفيذ أكبر وأطول شبكة من الطرق السريعة والمدعومة بأحدث المنظومات وأكثرها تطورا في مجال الكباري والإنفاق لتحقيق انجاز وطني يربط كافة محافظات الجمهورية ويسهم في خلق مئات المجتمعات العمرانية الجديدة وقد قام الباحث بتحليل الوضع الراهن لمشروعات الشبكة القومية للطرق والتحديات التي تواجه تنفيذ هذه المشروعات ومنها الزيادة السكانية والازدحام المروري.
أتبعت الدراسة الأسلوب التحليلي والوصفي الذي يسعي إلى تشخيص ووصف موضوع الدراسة من كافة جوانبه وأبعاده وكذلك المنهج الاستقرائي والاستنباطي كونهما مكملين لبعضهما البعض , وأيضا بعض الأساليب الإحصائية وكانت حدود الدراسة كالآتي: الحد المكاني: محافظات القاهرة الكبرى (القاهرة – الجيزة – القليوبية) مع دراسة حالة عن تطوير منطقة شرق القاهرة، الحد الزمني: الفترة من عام 2014 وحتى عام 2021، الحد الموضوعي: تقويم اثر الشبكة القومية للطرق علي البيئة والنمو الاقتصادي
تناول الباحث في الدراسة الميدانية استطلاع رأي عينة من المسئولين والعاملين بمشروعات الشبكة القومية للطرق وكذلك مستخدمي تلك الطرق بمحافظات القاهرة الكبرى عن طريق قائمة استقصاء تم تصميمها لاختبار الفروض بغرض التقويم البيئي  والاقتصادي لمشروعات الشبكة القومية للطرق بمحافظات القاهرة الكبرى ولتحقيق ذلك قام بتصميم (قائمة الاستقصاء) وعرضا لمجتمع وعينة الدراسة واختبار بيانات الدراسة من حيث الثبات والصدق بالإضافة إلى توصيف متغيرات الدراسة ثم توضيح أساليب التحليل الإحصائي المستخدمة في التحليل وكذلك اختبار فروض الدراسة وصولا إلى نتائج الدراسة
و قد خلصت الدراسة إلى وجود تأثير ايجابي لمشروعات الشبكة القومية للطرق علي البيئة والاقتصاد مع وجود تحديات لمشروعات الطرق منها الأنفاق وتوفير التمويل اللازم والزيادة السكانية المضطردة
ABSTRACT
 
The study aimed to analyze the impact of the national road network projects as one of the national projects implemented by Egypt as of 2014. The study also aimed to evaluate the impact of the road network on the environment surrounding roads , the economy and sustainable development, and to implement the vision of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to implement the largest and longest network of Highways supported by the latest and most advanced systems in the field of bridges and tunnels to achieve a national achievement that links all governorates of the Republic and contributes to creating hundreds of new urban communities. The researcher analyzed the current situation of the projects of the national network of roads and the challenges facing the implementation of these projects, including the population increase and traffic congestion. 
The study followed the analytical and descriptive approach, which seeks to diagnose and describe the subject of the study from all its aspects and dimensions, as well as the inductive and deductive approach as they are complementary to each other, as well as some statistical methods. Qalyubia) with a case study on the development of the East Cairo region, time limit: the period from 2014 to 2021, objective limit: evaluating the impact of the national road network on the environment and economic growth.
In the field study, the researcher dealt with a survey of the opinion of a sample of officials and workers in the projects of the national network of roads, as well as the users of those roads in the governorates of Greater Cairo through a survey list that was designed to test hypotheses for the purpose of environmental and economic evaluation of the projects of the national network of roads in the governorates of Greater Cairo. To achieve this, he designed (Survey list) and a presentation of the population and sample of the study and testing the study data in terms of reliability and validity in addition to the description of the study variables and then clarifying the methods of statistical analysis used in the analysis, as well as testing the study hypotheses to reach the results of the study. 
The study concluded that there is a positive impact of the projects of the national network of roads on the environment and the economy, with the challenges of road projects, including spending and providing the necessary funding and the steady population increase.
