This study aims to measure the relationship between the development of intellectual capital and the development of functional competencies With application to the medical sector in Egypt through the National Heart Institute and Elsafa hospital, and to achieve the objectives of the study, a survey form was designed and distributed to 116 employees of the organizations under study, 101 of which were retrieved among them 94 valid ones For the analysis and study, where the data were analyzed and hypotheses were tested using the SPSS program for statistical analysis, the study concluded that there is a significant correlation between the development of intellectual capital and the development of functional competencies.
